Following the release of Thalapathy Vijay’s Naa Ready song from LEO and Vijay Deverakonda’s VD13i announcement, the makers of several upcoming Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films dropped new trailers and teasers last week. Here’s a look.

SPY (Tamil)

Junglee Music Tamil unveiled the official trailer of its upcoming Tamil-language action film SPY. Directed by Garry BH, the film stars Nikhil Siddharth, Iswarya Menon, Sanya Thakur and Abhinav Gomatam.

In the two-minute-four-second-long trailer, we see glimpses of the globetrotting adventures of a special spy. We then see a plot involving Netaji Subash Chandra Bose as the spy hunts down a mission to save the country from terrorists.

SPY will arrive in cinemas on June 29.

Bholaa Shankar (Telugu)

The official teaser of the upcoming Telugu-language action film Bholaa Shankar was out. Helmed by Meher Ramesh and headlined by Chiranjeevi, the film also features Tamannaah, Keerthy Suresh, Sushanth, Raghu Babu, Murali Sharma, Ravi Shankar and Vennela Kishore.

The one-minute-13-second-long teaser introduces us to Chiranjeevi’s titular character who kicks, punches and slits for fun. We also see glimpses of the other major characters as they roam around Kolkata.

Circus (Kannada)

The official trailer of Kannada-language action comedy film Circus was released by the makers. Written, directed and headlined by Roopesh Shetty, the film also features Yash Shetty, Aravind Bolar, Naveen D Padil, Bhojraj Vamanjoor, Umesh Mijar and Prasanna Shetty Bailoor.

The two-minute-55-second-long trailer begins with the performance with a mythological play. The video then shows a set of eccentric people who are playing these characters. The director (Roopesh) has to overcome several obstacles to stage the play.

King of Kotha (Malayalam)

Sony Music South dropped the motion poster to introduce the cast and characters of its upcoming Malayalam-language gangster film King of Kotha. Directed by Abhilash Joshiy and written by Abhilash N Chandran, the film is headlined by Dulquer Salmaan. It also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Dancing Rose Shabeer, Prasanna and Nyla Usha.

The one-minute-33-second-long motion poster introduces all the major characters. It also presents the character names of the cast members, except Dulquer, whose character is presented as “King of Kotha”.

King of Kotha is slated to arrive in cinemas during Onam.
