The trailer of Netflix’s upcoming Italian original documentary series Vatican Girl: The Disappearance of Emanuela Orlandi ois out. The show is helmed by Mark Lewis, who won an Emmy for the docu-series Don’t F**k With Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer.
Shedding light on a case that started on June 22, 1983, the trailer tracks the mysterious disappearance of Emanuela Orlandi, a 15-year-old girl in Vatican City.
Vatican Girl: The Disappearance of Emanuela Orlandi will be streaming on Netflix from October 20.
Spirited
Apple TV+ has unveiled the teaser of its upcoming Christmas special fantasy comedy film Spirited, which stars Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell and Octavia Spencer.
The teaser is based on the familiar story of A Christmas Carol by Charlies Dickens and a spirit taking part in his yearly task of reforming a dark soul on Christmas Eve. The trailer starts with both Reynolds and Ferrell tap dancing.
Spirited, directed by Sean Anders, will arrive on Apple TV+ on November 18.
Varaal
The teaser of Malayalam star Sunny Wayne’s upcoming film Varaal has been shared by the makers. Directed by Kannan, the film also stars Prakash Raj, Anoop Menon and Renji Panicker.
In the trailer, we get to see a political leader (played by Raj) as he speaks with his colleagues. We also see Sunny speaking to another man at the end of the teaser. Produced by PA Sebastian, the music for the film is composed by Gopi Sundar.
Autorickshawkarante Bharya
Upcoming Malayalam-language film Autorickshawkarante Bharya’s teaser has come out. Starring Suraj Venjaramood, Ann Augustine and Janardhanan, the film is a lighthearted family drama with the essence of social commentary. Directed by Harikumar, it is based on M. Mukundan’s novel of the same name.
Ann and Suraj are shown as a couple in this teaser, which shows glimpses of the equation between the husband and wife. It also chronicles how the wife takes charge to bring about a change in her spouse’s life by driving an auto-rickshaw herself.
Thank God
T-Series released the Diwali-special trailer of its upcoming comedy-drama Thank God, starring Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles. The film is written and directed by Indra Kumar, who is known for helming comedy films like Dhamaal, Total Dhamaal and Grand Masti.
The trailer shows Ajay Devgn as Chitragupt, all decked up in royal attire and speaking in Sanskrit and then switching into a black suit as he measures the sins and good deeds of Sidharth Malhotra’s character, who is fighting for his life after a road accident. Rakul plays Siddharth’s wife and also happens to be a police officer.
Thank God is set to hit the cinemas on October 25.
