"In Modhur Hawa, we delve into the evolving dynamics of family relationships, where four generations live under one roof. The upcoming special episode centres around a beautiful Bengali wedding with an interesting twist in the running story. However, through these specific episodes, the mega serial will shed light on the long-running superstitious notions dominating the lives of innocent women and the revolutionary initiatives undertaken by a few brave men who ultimately emerged successful. Till today, history remembers them as the iconic figures who are the backbone of our modern society. We believe these special episodes will resonate with our audience, reflecting before them both the modern values inspired and evolved from the past traditional faiths," said Priyanka Bardia, director, Aakash Aath.

“The character of Piu in Modhur Hawa is quite different and very special. Pronouncing the Sanskrit shlokas with confidence and devotion is a very daunting task for any ordinary individual. Adequate practice and guidance brought the perfect shade to the screen. Moreover, traditions are not bound to any gender or race. It always ties everyone in a bond of happiness and compassion. I hope the viewers will enjoy these episodes,” said actor Bhavana Banerjee.

Modhur Hawa features Arijit Guha, Gopa Nandi, Subhasish Banerjee, Mousumi Chakbraborty, Subhojit Banerjee, Shatabdi Nag, Swarup Dey in prominent roles.

Modhur Hawa airs from Monday to Saturday at 7pm on Aakash Aath, and the wedding special episodes will be aired till September 22.
