Mega Blockbuster
BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and team India cricketer Rohit Sharma recently took to social media to announce Mega Blockbuster — a mystery project starring actresses Deepika Padukone, Trisha Krishnan and Rashmika Mandanna, and comedian Kapil Sharma alongside the cricketers. According to the social media posts of the aforementioned celebrities, the trailer of the mystery project will be released on September 4.
“It was fun shooting for it! The new Mega Blockbuster is releasing soon,” Sourav wrote on Instagram. Deepika kept it even more enigmatic by just writing “Surprise!” alongside a picture of herself.
Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey
The makers of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey have dropped the first trailer of the horror film which reimagines popular cartoon characters Winnie-the-Pooh (Craig David Dowsett) and Piglet (Chris Cordell) as masked killers seeking to kill Christopher Robin (Nikolai Leon) and his friends. The trailer of the film, directed and written by Rhys Frake-Waterfield, follows Pooh and Piglet as they go on a bloody rampage.
The Imperfects
Netflix has dropped the trailer of The Imperfects, a coming-of-age drama of three individuals in their twenties who can turn into mythical creatures. After being experimented on non-consensually, young adults Abbi (Rhianna Jagpal), Juan (Inaki Godoy) and Tilda (Morgan Taylor Campbell) try to find a way to get back to their normal human selves. The trailer of the show, dropping just a week before the show’s September 8 release on Netflix, seems to be an amalgamation of horror, drama and comedy.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu
The first look of the Telugu film Hari Hara Veera Mallu was dropped today to celebrate the 51st birthday of Telugu star Pawan Kalyan, who headlines the film. The movie’s production house Mega Surya dropped the teaser video titled Power Glance where Pawan can be seen going up against a group of wrestlers, tossing them around effortlessly.
The video ends with wishing the star on his birthday. Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s director Krish Jagarlamudi shared the film’s first-look poster which has a picture of Pawan holding the reins of a chariot. Arjun Rampal and Nargis Fakhri are reportedly a part of the period film set to release on March 30, 2023.
