A gun-wielding Sonu Sood goes on a killing spree in classic John Wick fashion in the teaser of the actor’s directorial debut Fateh, dropped by the makers on Saturday.
The one-minute-40-second-long teaser begins with a voiceover of a man telling Sood’s character that the latter killed 40 people on the night of March 13. Sood immediately clarifies that he killed 50 men instead of 40 but the remaining 10 bodies will never be found. The tagline of the film — ‘Never underestimate a nobody’ — appears on the black screen while a 3D image of a bullet falls from the top.
Displaying no sense of regret or guilt, Sood coldly says that he prays for their souls to rest in peace. “One who is born will perish,” he says in response to a question of morality asked by an investigator.
The subsequent scenes show Sood gearing up to kill his enemies in deserted locations and on a cruise ship.
Sporting black-rimmed glasses, Jacqueline Fernandez features in the teaser as a woman typing on a computer and trying to look for information.
The teaser ends with a merciless Sood entering a room and shooting a man in the head.
“Aa Raha Hoon 🔥 #Fateh. Brace yourselves for the biggest action-packed thriller,” Sood wrote alongside the teaser shared on Instagram.
Produced by Zee Studios and Sonali Sood, Fateh is slated to release in theatres this year.
