Actress Sonam Kapoor watched the IPL match between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders with Apple CEO Tim Cook at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Thursday night.

We’re so grateful for the care and attention you’ve given to creating your signature world class experience here. cc @anandahuja,” Sonam wrote on Twitter alongside a set of pictures of her watching the match with Cook and her husband Anand Ahuja.

The Apple boss is currently in India for work. He had met several other Bollywood stars during the launch of an Apple Store in Mumbai recently.

Retweeting Sonam’s post, Cook thanked her for “an unforgettable evening”.

Sonam wore a yellow sari, designed by Anavila, at the match. The actress thanked the clothing brand for the linen sari that kept her “cool in the Delhi heat”.

Calling her outfit “fashionable and practical”, Sonam said that she finds saris the most comfortable to wear in the Indian heat. The 37-year-old accessorised her look with vintage jewellery.

Sonam’s husband Anand Ahuja also posed for selfies with Cook at the packed stadium.

Cook has been meeting various Indians who are using Apple to make creative and innovative ideas come to life. He has been present for the launch of an Apple store in Saket, Delhi, and in Mumbai. He also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his stay in India.

Sonam Kapoor was last seen in the Netflix film AK vs AK. She is reportedly set to star in Shome Makhija’s directorial Blind.
