Actress Sonakshi Sinha has joined forces with producer Vishal Rana and debutante director Karan Rawal for a romantic thriller “that will have you on the edge of your seats”, the 36-year-old actress announced through an Instagram post on Thursday.
“Super happy to be collaborating with the dynamic producer Vishal Rana (@itsvishalrana) of @echelonproduction and debutante Director Karan Rawal (@karanrawal2) on a film that will have you on the edge of your seats… watch this space for more,” wrote Sonakshi alongside a picture of her, Vishal and Karan.
Bankrolled by Echelon Productions, the yet-untitled romantic thriller will feature an unforgettable twist, claims Sonakshi in her post. “When three people who LOVE their work, are borderline OBSESSED with it and cant wait to THRILL the audience come together - you get a Romantic Thriller with a twist you wont forget,” she wrote in the post.
Sonakshi, who made her OTT debut with Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar’s Amazon Prime Video crime thriller series Dahaad, will also star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s maiden OTT venture Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Billed as an epic saga of love, power and freedom, the upcoming Netflix series also features Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hyadri, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Sharmin Segal and Richa Chadha in key roles.
Apart from that, Sonakshi will be seen alongside Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in Ali Abbas Zafar’s action thriller Bade Miyan Chote Miyan slated to hit the theatres on April 9.
