Sonakshi Sinha donned a shimmery sari — similar to the one she wore in the recently released music video of Heeramandi song Tilasmi Bahein — and showed up in a vintage convertible in Mumbai’s Gaiety Galaxy theatre for promotions of the upcoming Sanjay Leela Bhansali series, show pictures and videos shared by the actress.
“Fareedan’s night out,” Sonakshi, who plays the role of Fareedan in the period drama, captioned her pictures on Instagram.
In the pictures, the actress sports a pink sari with silver sequins and golden embellishments. She wore her hair down and opted for a matching lip shade. A statement choker, bangles and a winged eyeliner completed her look. For her promotional shoot, Sonakshi posed in front of a red vintage car.
A video shared by Bhansali Productions from the event shows Sonakshi arriving at the Gaiety Galaxy theatre in a red classic convertible. As she sits on the back seat of the roofless car, Sonakshi waves to her fans who gather around to meet her. She addresses the fans and also grooves along to the song Tilasmi Bahein on stage. A special screening of the song’s music video also took place at the event.
“A magical evening full of music & countless memories! Grateful for all the love pouring in for Tilasmi Bahein,” Bhansali Productions wrote alongside the video.
Pictures shared by the production house show the actress posing for the lens while sitting on the rear seat of the car. A poster of Heeramandi featuring Sonakshi as Fareedan lit up the Mumbai theatre, shows another picture. Other photos feature Sonakshi greeting fans and talking about the period drama.
“Tonight was magical! We are spellbound. Thank you for your love for #TilasmiBahein,” the production house wrote alongside the pictures.
