Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar stars — Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hyadri, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal and Richa Chadha — are set to open up about their personal life and the recent experience of working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the next episode of Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show.

“The beauties of Heeramandi are here to laugh along with the beast of comedy, are you ready for this royal comedy affair? Don't forget to watch #TheGreatIndianKapilShow this Saturday 8pm only on Netflix,” wrote the streaming platform on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.

Richa shares in the promo video that she had to do 99 retakes for a scene in Heeramandi, leaving everyone shocked. The video also shows Sonakshi Sinha humorously expressing her strong desire for marriage.

The video opens with Krushna Abhishek, dressed as an air hostess, inviting the cast of Heeramandi to savour delicious paani puris at gate no. 20 of the airport. The guests rush to the centre of the stage where Kapil takes on the role of a paani puri vendor. He feigns offense when Sonakshi calls him 'bhaiya', refusing to serve paani puris to her.

Sunil Grover then appears on stage, donning a sari and two long plaits, engaging in a mock altercation with Abhishek. This leads to a light-hearted reference to Grover's exit from Kapil's previous show in 2017 following a mid-air altercation.

The women of Heeramandi also perform a dance number on stage with Manisha revealing that she felt nervous before filming every scene of Bhansali’s maiden series.

Next, Kiku Sharda appears as Chandramukhi, a courtesan in love with Rajiv Thakur, who mimics Jackie Shroff on stage, leaving the cast of Heeramandi in stitches.

The video ends with Sonakshi teaching Kapil the charm and mannerisms of a Heeramandi courtesan.

The seventh episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show featuring the cast of Bhansali’s Heeramandi will drop on Netflix on Saturday at 8 pm.

The previous episode of the comedy show was all about Sunny and Bobby Deol’s sibling bond.
