Actor-couple Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal celebrated one month of their marriage in the Philippines on July 23. Here’s a look at some pictures the actress dropped from their week-long vacation.
Sonakshi and Zaheer spent time in a pool to rejuvenate themselves during their week-long stay in the Philippines. “In one week we were taught what wellness actually means: to listen to our bodies and take care of our minds,” she wrote in the caption.
Sonakshi and Zaheer, who had tied the knot on June 23 in Mumbai, savoured a bowl of delicious soup during their vacation. “Waking up in the midst of nature, eating right, sleeping on time, detox treatments and massages galore - feeling brand new,” the actress wrote about their Phillipines experience.
The couple, who had dated for seven years before their wedding, exchanged vows at the actress’s sea-facing Bandra West apartment. The ceremony was attended by her parents Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha, Zaheer’s dad Iqbal Ratansi, and several industry colleagues including Aditi Rao Hydari, Siddharth and Huma Qureshi.
Zaheer and Sonakshi twinned in white during their vacation. As per media reports, the couple first met on the sets of Notebook (2017). They collaborated for the music video of the song Blockbuster, which was released in September 2022. Later, they co-starred in the comedy-drama Double XL (2022).
Sonakshi posted a picture that shows Zaheer looking at his wife at a restaurant. The 35-year-old actor last appeared in Karan Lalit Butani’s actioner Ruslaan alongside Aayush Sharma, Sushrii Shreya Mishraa, Jagapathi Babu and Vidya Malvade.
Sonakshi sported an olive grey sweatshirt, a white baseball cap and quirky glasses in a selfie. The 37-year-old actress recently starred in Aditya Sarpotdar’s horror-comedy Kakuda alongside Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem.
