What’s common between Soha Ali Khan, Paoli Dam, Shweta Tiwari and Dakota Johnson? The gorgeous four share their birthdays. The actresses who come from different backgrounds and represent different industries enjoy a fan following across generations. As they turn a year older today, we take a look at what they have been up to.
Soha Ali Khan
Soha’s most recent screen outing is the Amazon Prime Video series Hush Hush where she stars in an ensemble cast of Juhi Chawla, Sahana Goswami, Kritika Kamra and Karishma Tanna, and is receiving praise for her turn as a former journalist.
The actress, who is 44 today, is a fun mom to five-year-old Inaaya and with husband, actor Kunal Kemmu, sets a lot of parenting goals. Soha is also the author of two books, and her sharp wit and sense of humour is evident in the title of her memoir, The Perils of Being Moderately Famous.
Paoli Dam
The Tollywood actress is the leading lady in Karm Yuddh, the latest web series to drop on Disney+Hotstar, where she’s at the centre of a succession battle unfolding in a wealthy Kolkata-based family. Paoli, who will cut her 42nd cake today, is a stunner in saris and we love it every time she turns out in a new sari from her classy wardrobe.
Shweta Tiwari
The popular TV star looks far younger than her 42 years. Shweta has often taken a stand for single mothers, and with her daughter Palak Tiwari, makes lots of fun reels. Shweta made a comeback after two years with the Zee TV show Main Hoon Aparajita, where she plays a mother who brings up her daughters by herself after being deserted by her husband.
Dakota Johnson
The Fifty Shades of Grey actress turns 32 today. While she found overnight fame as Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades franchise, Dakota has broken out of the vulnerable beautiful girl image to experiment with more complex roles. We loved her recent turns in The Peanut Butter Falcon, The High Note, The Lost Daughter and Netflix’s Persuasion.
