Actress Sobhita Dhulipala has shared a throwback video to mark the fourth anniversary of the Amazon Prime Video show Made in Heaven with glimpses from its first season, which premiered on March 8, 2019.

“Glossy, glamorous, or not- this deep dive into the world of the big fat Indian weddings stirs you up with a gamut of emotions every single time and today just calls for a rewatch,” she wrote alongside the clip.

The wedding drama series — directed jointly by Nitya Mehra, Zoya Akhtar, Prashant Nair and Alankrita Shrivastava — followed the lives of wedding planner Tara Khanna (Sobhita) and Karan Mehta (Arjun Mathur) navigating through the highs and lows of posh weddings in Delhi. Sobhita’s Tara became a fan-favourite following the release of the show.

The upcoming instalment of Made in Heaven, set to be released this year, will see Sobhita reprising the role of the ambitious and confident Tara once again. Married to Jim Sarbh’s Adil Khanna, Tara’s sharp wit, confident demeanour and savage persona along with a fierce backstory made for a memorable character.

The second season of Made in Heaven will also star Neelam Kothari in an episode, as revealed by the 53-year-old actress on the Netflix reality series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.

Sobhita is currently geared up for the release of the second chapter of Disney+ Hotstar’s The Night Manager. The actress will also be seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan 2. She is set to make her Hindi film debut with Monkey Man, directed by and starring Dev Patel.
