Actress Sobhita Dhulipala could not stop smiling as she got ready for her engagement with actor Naga Chaitanya in Hyderabad on August 8, shows a video shared by her makeup artist Shraddha Mishra on Instagram.

“So the story unfolds. Wishing the wonderful couple a lifetime of joy and love. Thank you @sobhitad for letting me be a part of your special occasion, it truly was a beautiful day,” wrote Shraddha, sharing a video on Sunday.

The video also captures Sobhita posing on a swing with Naga Chaitanya.

The Night Manager actress looked gorgeous in an orange-and-pink embroidered silk sari. A long braid adorned with a peach gajra enhanced her glamour quotient. Sobhita opted for minimal makeup — a touch of kohl and tinted pink cheeks — to balance her look. Gold-toned accessories, including a layered necklace, bangles and jhumkas, perfectly complemented the actress’ traditional look.

Naga Chaitanya, on the other hand, wore a traditional white veshti (dhoti) and jubba (kurta).

Sobhita also reacted to Shraddha’s post. “Samanta Dhulipala (Sobhita’s sister) in the background slurping coffee instead of getting ready,” read her comment.

Sobhita’s sister Samanta shared a series of pictures from the engagement ceremony featuring their mum Santha Kamakshi and dad Venugopal Rao. Naga Chaitanya’s father Akkineni Nagarjuna and the latter’s wife Amala Mukherjee were also present.

Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The couple split in 2021 after four years of marriage. As per media reports, Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya sparked dating rumours with their European getaway in 2022. However, the couple had never officially confirmed their relationship prior to the engagement.

On the work front, Naga Chaitanya is set to headline Chandoo Mondeti's upcoming film Thandel alongside Sai Pallavi. Sobhita last appeared in Dev Patel’s directorial debut Monkey Man.
