So as actors, we need to upgrade ourselves constantly to keep up with the expectations of viewers who, these days, are exposed to very high quality work from across the world,” said Abar Proloy star Saswata Chatterjee.

“We will feature nationallyacclaimed, award-winning directors who will create web series for the first time ever. We also plan to develop original films that will have a digital premiere on Flixbug post their theatre releases. We have an interesting line-up of content that will be remarkably different from other OTT channels,” said Flixbug content and creative head Raajhorshee De.

“We want to position Flixbug as a global OTT platform, which is home to some of the best Hindi and Bengali content of our time. Our focus is on Indian stories, be it retro classics, contemporary films or web series.
