Singham Again crosses Rs 150-crore mark in India, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 inches closer to milestone

Rohit Shetty’s cop universe film has raked in Rs 153 crore nett in India so far, while Anees Bazmee’s horror comedy film has minted Rs 137 crore nett

Ajay Devgn-starrer Singham Again crossed the Rs 150-crore mark at the domestic box office at the end of its fifth day in theatres, while Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 inched closer to the milestone, according to latest trade reports.

Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty, has minted Rs 153.25 crore nett in five days. The domestic gross stands at Rs 167.5 crore, with an additional Rs 42.5 crore gross from international markets, bringing its worldwide total to Rs 210 crore gross, according to industry data-tracking platform Sacnilk.

Singham Again sees Devgn reprising his role as Bajirao Singham in a high-stakes, cross-border mission to rescue his wife (Kareena Kapoor Khan). The film is part of Shetty’s expanding cop universe, following previous instalments Singham (2011), Singham Returns (2014), Simmba (2018), and Sooryavanshi (2021).

The ensemble cast includes Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Tiger Shroff, with a special appearance by Salman Khan as Chulbul Pandey.

On the other hand, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has collected Rs 137 crore nett in India so far, as per industry data-tracking portal Sacnilk. The Anees Bazmee-directed horror comedy film opened with a strong Rs 35.5 crore nett collection on Day 1, followed by a robust weekend earning of Rs 106 crore nett. Monday collections for the Anees Bazmee directorial fell by 46.27 per cent to Rs 18 crore nett, followed by an additional 27.78 per cent drop to Rs 13 crore nett on Tuesday.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has amassed Rs 187.75 crore gross worldwide, which includes Rs 148.75 crore from the Indian market, as of Tuesday. The film has earned Rs 39 crore gross across international markets.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 features Kartik reprising his role as Rooh Baba, with Vidya Balan returning as the iconic Manjulika from the 2007 Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The ensemble cast also includes Triptii Dimri, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Mishra and Rajpal Yadav.
