Singer Adnan Sami's Mumbai residence was once the go-to place for jamming sessions featuring leading musicians of India. Reminiscing about the good old days, Sami recently shared a series of candid pictures featuring Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, A.R. Rahman, Javed Akhtar, Asha Bhosle and other big names of the music industry. Here’s a look.
While Sami was on the piano, singers Sonu Nigam, Javed Ali, Udit Narayan and Daler Mehndi gathered around and sang together.
Singer Alka Yagnik also joined the other artistes in the jamming session.
Sporting a vibrant blue shirt with sleeves rolled up, Shaan appeared joyful alongside Sami and Sonu Nigam.
Singer Shreya Ghosal, in a red ethnic wear, posed beside Adnan at the latter’s residence.
Filmmakers Rakesh Roshan and Subhash Ghai also attended one of the parties at Adnan’s residence.
Adnan Sami shared another blast-from-the-past moment, where the singer posed alongside Michael Jackson’s brother, singer-songwriter Jermaine Jackson, and veteran musician Bappi Lahiri.

Adnan played the keyboard with Hariharan singing at a session. Ustad Zakir Hussain added magic to the session with his tabla beats. The tabla maestro passed away on December 15 in San Francisco.
