Newlyweds Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani have received congratulatory messages from a number of Bollywood celebrities, including Sidharth’s Student of the Year co-stars Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan and the director of that movie, Karan Johar.
Filmmaker-producer-talk show host Karan Johar, who attended the wedding on Tuesday in Jaisalmer of Rajasthan, took to Instagram to share a heartfelt note about the couple. “I met him a decade and a half ago…. Silent, strong and still so sensitive…. I met her many years after… silent ,strong and so sensitive in equal measure…Then they met each other and i realised in that moment that the these two pillars of strength and dignity can make an irreplaceable bond and create the most magical love story together…. Another Bollywood couple, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, congratulated the newlyweds on Instagram. “Rab dher saari khushiyaan bakshe. May life together be full of eternal bliss!” He also wrote in the comments section of Kiara’s wedding post, “Congratulations!!! You guys look beautiful together!” wrote Vicky, who worked with Kiara in Lust Stories and Govinda Naam Mera, on his Instagram Stories.
Katrina, who acted with Sidharth in Baar Baar Dekho, also wished the couple in their wedding posts. She wrote a message on her Instagram Stories, “Congratulations. All the love to you both,” and also wrote in reaction to Sidharth's wedding post, “Congratulations so beautiful.”
Actor Shahid Kapoor’s wife — Mira Rajput — congratulated the couple on her Instagram Stories and also teased Kiara Kiara about how she was now married into a family from Delhi. “Love and only Love, Congratulations Mr and Mrs Malhotra. Magic and masti forever and ever. Ab toh Bombay vali bhi Dilli ho gayi,” she wrote.
