The release was announced via Moosewala’s Instagram account which is now handled by his family members.

This is Moosewala’s second song released posthumously. The first posthumous song SYL was banned on YouTube after official complaints against it.

Moosewala was shot dead on May 29, 2022 at a location close to his hometown Mansa.

Two weeks before his passing, the rapper had released The last ride as a tribute to American rapper Tupac who was killed by gangsters in 1996.
