Friends and colleagues of Sidharth Shukla remembered the popular TV actor and Bigg Boss 13 winner, who passed away last year on September 2 following a heart attack.

The actor had become a household name for his roles in Balika Vadhu, Broken But Beautiful 3 and Dil Se Dil Tak. Later, he worked in a number of Hindi films, debuting with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania where he played Angad Bedi, Alia Bhatt’s fiance. Sidharth’s journey on Bigg Boss 13 became even more special with the entry of co-contestant Shehnaaz Gill, a Punjabi singer-actress. The two became so close during their stint at the Bigg Boss house that fans named them #SidNaaz.

Shefali Jariwala

Kaanta Laga girl Shefali Jariwala shared a picture of Sidharth on her Instagram story and wrote, “Thinking of you today mere dost”. Shefali, who was in a relationship with Sidharth in the past, had joined the Bigg Boss 13 house as a wild card entry. The two had remained friends after their breakup.

Actress Mahhi Vij was a good friend of Sidharth’s and even publicly supported him during his Bigg Boss 13 days. The actress shared an old picture with her friend to remember him by.

Beyhadh actor Kushal Tandon was a close friend of Sidharth’s and had even left social media after Sidharth passed away. Kushal remembered Sidharth with a video of them and wrote, “Miss you man. One year already…”

Ken Ferns

A fashion designer, Ken Ferns shared a heartfelt note on Instagram on his friend’s death anniversary. The caption ended with the lines, “I will hold you in my heart/Until i can hold you in heaven/i miss u buddy..”

Ken also tweeted about how difficult it was for him to go back to their chats and listen to Sidharth’s voice notes after his passing.

Kaushal Joshi

Producer and celebrity manager Kaushal Joshi had managed Sidharth Shukla in the past. Kaushal started his journey as a producer with the single Bhula Dunga, sung by Darshan Raval, the video of which featured Shehnaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla.

Raghav Sharma

Raghav Sharma had worked with Sidharth and Shehnaaz as the video supervisor on Tony Kakkar’s music video Shona Shona. Raghav also posted a picture of Sidharth and him on his Instagram story captioned, “Miss you everyday bro”.
