Actor Sidharth Malhotra is set to star in a folk thriller titled Vvan: Force Of The Forrest, slated to hit screens on Chhath puja next year, he announced on Thursday alongside a teaser.

Coming On Chhath, 2025,” the 39-year-old actor wrote on Instagram.
Set to a haunting score, the teaser begins with a signboard mentioning ‘Suryast ke baad jungle mein pravesh karna varjit hain (Entering the jungle after sunset is strictly prohibited)’. As thunder strikes, a man in a white dhoti walks through the forest with a fire torch in his hand. The video ends with a shot of a dimly-lit temple in the heart of the forest.
Directed by Arunabh Kumar and Deepak Kumar Mishra, the upcoming film is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor. It is presented by Balaji Telefilms.
Sidharth was last seen in Yodha, directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha. Also starring Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani, the action-thriller released in theatres on March 15.
According to media reports, Sara Ali Khan has been cast alongside Sidharth in Vvan: Force Of The Forrest.
