Newlyweds Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra shared a popular dialogue from their hit film Shershaah — Ab humari permanent booking hogayi hai —- on Instagram alongside pictures of their royal Jaisalmer wedding on February 7.
“Ab humari permanent booking hogayi hai. We seek your blessings and love on our journey ahead ❤️🙏,” they wrote, sharing three pictures from the wedding.
Sidharth and Kiara had started dating while shooting on the sets of Shershaah — a film that is said to have played an important role in their relationship. Shershaah was also their first film together.
The two, however, had met for the first time at the wrap party of Lust Stories.
The Bollywood couple tied the knot on February 7 in the presence of their family and close friends at the Suryagarh hotel in Jaisalmer. For the main event, both Kiara and Sidharth opted for Manish Malhotra outfits.
Kiara looked stunning in a custom rose pink ombre lehenga with intricate embroidery featuring Roman Architecture, inspired by the couple’s love for the city of domes. A Zambian emerald jewellery set completed the look. Kiara also wore customised kaliras that had details of stars, moon, the initials of Kiara and Sidharth and their love for Rome.
Sidharth opted for a metallic gold sherwani with hints of ivory threadwork and gold zardozi and badla work. The 38-year-old actor wore a Polki Jewellery set including a stunning ring.
The couple had reportedly arranged for a desert safari as well as a spa for their guests. Like Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, the newlyweds also opted for a no-phone policy at their wedding. The Haldi and Mehendi ceremony took place on February 6, ahead of the main wedding event. The reception will take place post the wedding and the couple will also reportedly host a Mumbai reception on February 12 followed by a Delhi reception.
