Known for high-octane action films like Sultan (2016) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), Ali Abbas introduces two fearless Indian soldiers Bade Miyan Firoz (Akshay) and Chote Miyan Rakesh (Tiger) of the Lions Regiment in his latest directorial venture. The duo perform daring stunts during a volatile mission to apprehend a masked villain (Prithviraj Sukumaran) who has fled to London with a dangerous weapon capable of wreaking havoc. A fresh take on the David Dhawan-helmed 1998 film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda, Bade Miyan Chote Miya also features Manushi Chhillar, Sonakshi Sinha and Alaya F in key roles.
Bade Miyan Chote Miya was released in Indian theatres today. The action thriller debuted in the UAE on April 10 to mark the occasion of Eid.
