Filmmaker Siddharth Anand has dropped pictures with actor Saif Ali Khan from Budapest in Hungary, where the duo are shooting for an upcoming project.

“Back on set with my first hero! How can nothing change! Haha! Love you Saif,” the 45-year-old director wrote alongside pictures with Saif.

In the first picture, the duo can be seen twinning in black and posing for the lens in the heart of the city. The second picture shows them engrossed in a conversation.

In the comments section, Arjun Kapoor wrote, “Lord ki Jay ho.” Fans flooded the comments section with their excitement for the duo’s return. “Old duo is back,” one of them wrote. “All you need to do is make a romcom with Deepika Saif now. Their pairing is iconic right from Love Aaj Kal to Cocktail,” another fan commented.

It was reported earlier this year that Siddharth and Saif are set to reunite after nearly 17 years for an action-thriller titled Jewel Thief, also starring Jaideep Ahlawat.

Siddharth and Saif have collaborated on films like Salaam Namaste and Tara Rum Pum.

Jewel Thief is going to be directed by Robbie Grewal, according to IMDb. The script will be written by Siddharth in collaboration with Grewal. Backed by Siddharth’s Marflix Pictures, the movie will reportedly focus on a deadly heist carried out by Saif and Ahlawat’s characters.
