100 AND COUNTING: The TV show Shreyoshi completed 100 episodes recently. Shreyoshi (on Aakash Aath) is about the journey of an ordinary girl who has recently got married. It dwells upon the many sacrifices that a woman has to make to safeguard her near and dear ones. It reveals her unwavering willpower, the kindness and benevolence that she bears in her heart, her sheer fortitude to transcend boundaries imposed on her and ultimately emerge victorious.

“I play an author-backed role in Shreyoshi which gives me immense scope to perform. The story is an adaptation of an award-winning work by Subodh Ghosh. Here my character has diverse shades and women power forms the crux of the story. This role is completely different from all the previous ones which I have played. So far, the shooting has been a wonderful and cohesive experience for me with great co-stars to work with,” said Arkoja Acharyya.
