Shehzada

The official trailer of Shehzada, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles, has come out. The movie, directed by Rohit Dhawan, also features Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy and Sachin Khedekar. It is the official Hindi remake of the 2000 Telugu action drama film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which was headlined by Pushpa star Allu Arjun.

The three-minute-three-second-long trailer starts with an action sequence featuring Kartik. It shows how his character has been deprived by his foster father played by Paresh Rawal. We also see glimpses of a romance between Kartik and Kriti’s characters. There is also a trademark Kartik monologue in the trailer regarding nepotism.

Sehhzada will arrive in cinemas on February 10.

Shahmaran

Netflix unveiled the trailer for its upcoming Turkish series Shahmaran on Thursday. This highly-anticipated Turkish series, directed by Umur Turagay and written by Pinar Bulut, stars Serenay Sarikaya, Burak Deniz, Mert Ramazan Demir, Ebru Özkan, Mahir Günsiray and Mustafa Ugurlu.

The one-minute-25-second-long trailer is filled with spectacular visuals. “When Şahsu goes to Adana, she seizes the chance to confront her estranged grandfather but soon finds herself in the midst of a legend,” according to its synopsis.

Shahmaran will be streaming on Netflix from January 20.

Shotgun Wedding

Amazon Prime Video on Thursday released the official trailer of American romantic comedy film Shotgun Wedding. The film is directed by Jason Moore and written by Mark Hammer. It stars Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel in lead roles along with Sônia Braga, Jennifer Coolidge, Lenny Kravitz and Cheech Marin.

The one-minute-42-second-long trailer shows Darcy (Lopez) and Tom (Duhamel) getting their lovable but very opinionated families for the ultimate destination wedding. However, everyone’s lives get in danger when the entire party is taken hostage by a terrorist group. The couple now must work together to save their loved ones.

Shotgun Wedding will arrive on Prime Video on January 27.

The Exchange

Netflix on Thursday dropped the official teaser of Kuwaiti series The Exchange, created by Nadia Ahmad with Anne and Adam Sobel. Directed by Karim Elshenawy and Jasem Al-Muhanna, the financial drama stars Rawan Mahdi, Mona Hussain, Hussain Al-Mahdi, Mohamed Mansour, Faisal Al-Amiri, Jasem Al-Nabhan, Maryam Salih, Asmahan Tawfiq and Abdullah Bahman.

The one-minute-24-second-long teaser shows Kuwait in 1988 and follows two women who made their way into the boys’ club of the Kuwait Stock Exchange on the eve of Saddam Hussein’s invasion.

The Exchange will be streaming on Netflix from February 8.
