The Ayushmann Khurrana-Rakul Preet-starrer Doctor G has another fun cast member Shefali Shah, who plays the character of serious and broody Dr Nandini in the film. Shefali recently took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes reel where the actress can be seen enjoying playing the character of the doctor and having a great time on the set with the team.
The 49-year-old actress is living her childhood dream of becoming a doctor through her character in the movie. “It's really exciting. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a doctor. In fact, I wanted to be a neurosurgeon, but life had other plans and I wasn't ready to study physics,” she said.
Talking about the film, Shefail said, “It's a very very nice script that deals with a very sensitive, sweet and interesting subject. And it’s very funny.”
Written by Sumit Saxena, Saurabh Bharat, Vishal Wagh and Anubhuti Kashyap, Doctor G is set to hit the theatres on October 14.
