Little Things actress Mithila Palkar took to the comments section and congratulated Sharvari for embarking on the journey. Film producer Siddharth P Malhotra commented, “All the best I’m sure you're gonna nail it.”

Alpha is directed by Shiv Rawail, known for the Netflix series The Railway Men and films like Fan (2016) and Dhoom 3 (2013). The film is produced by Aditya Chopra.

Alia had announced the film earlier this month with a teaser video and wrote, “It’s the time of the #ALPHA.. Girls.”

YRF has been creating record-breaking hits for its spy universe which includes films like Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Hrithik Roshan’s War (2019) and Shah Rukh Khan’s recent actioner Pathaan (2023).

While Sharvari recently grabbed headlines for her stellar performance in Aditya Sarpotdar’s Munjya and the Junaid Khan-led historical drama Maharaj, Alia completed filming for her home banner Eternal Sunshine Productions’s third project Jigra. Also starring Vedang Raina, Jigra is slated to hit theatres on September 27.
