The makers of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya have dropped a fresh clip from the film featuring Dharmendra ahead of its theatrical release on February 9.

Touted as an ‘impossible love story’, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha is about the romance brewing between Shahid’s robotics expert and humanoid robot Sifra, played by Kriti.
The clip shows Shahid introducing Sifra to his joint family in India, which leads to hilarious scenes with rib-tickling dialogues.
Since Kriti’s Sifra is a robot, she cannot really comprehend human emotions and traditions. So, when Shahid’s mother asks her to greet his father (Dharmendra) by touching his feet, she does as she is told but shows the same respect to a little boy in the family. This surprises everyone, including Shahid who is not aware of the truth about Kriti.
When Shahid tells her that the boy is only five years old and that she doesn’t have to touch his feet, Kriti replies, “Par main toh sirf ek saal ki hun (but I’m only one year old),” which shocks everyone but ultimately results in laughter.
The clip also shows other moments from the film featuring Shahid with Dharmendra, who last appeared on the big screen in Karan Johar’s 2023 film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, headlined by Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
Sharing the video on Instagram, Kriti wrote, “Get ready to meet 1 year old SIFRA in just 2 days 🤭🤖 Advance bookings now open 🎟 Book your tickets now, link in bio. #TeriBaatonMeinAisaUljhaJiya in cinemas this Friday!”
The movie derives its name from the 2004 song Teri Baaton by Raghav, a new version of which will be incorporated into the film.
Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha marks the first collaboration between Shahid and Kriti. Directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the film was initially slated to release in October 2023.
Maddock Films on Tuesday announced that the film has made it to the list of IMDb’s most anticipated new Indian movies. “The excitement for Aryan & SIFRA’s impossible pyaar has spread all over 🤩🫶🏻,” they wrote in the caption.
Advance booking for the film is now open.
