Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathaan grossed Rs 700 crore at the worldwide box office in nine days, according to Box Office India reports.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the spy action thriller fetched Rs 16 crore nett on its ninth day in India alone. The total box office haul of Pathaan now stands at Rs 364 crore nett in the domestic market.
Also featuring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, Pathaan released across the globe in Hindi alongside dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu on January 2. After reporting a stupendous opening day collection of Rs 55 crore nett, the blockbuster went on to join the Rs 500-crore club in five days, becoming the fastest Indian film to do so, beating KGF: Chapter 2 and Baahubali: The Conclusion.
Pathaan, which marks the return of Shah Rukh to the big screen after a gap of four years, is the fourth movie in the YRF spy universe after Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) — both headlined by Salman Khan — and Hrithik Roshan-starrer War (2019).
