Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan crossed the Rs 600-crore mark worldwide even before completing seven days in the theatres, raking in Rs 605-610 crore gross at the global box office since its release on September 7, according to trade reports.
In doing so, the Atlee-helmed action-entertainer touches Pathaan, Shah Rukh’s previous release this year, which also achieved the same feat in six days.
After its massive opening day collection of Rs 75 crore nett, Jawan maintained its momentum with Rs 53.23 crore nett on Day 2. On the third day, the movie collected a whopping Rs 77.83 crore nett in all languages, following it up with Rs 81 crore nett all over India on Sunday.
Even on Monday, when films typically see a drop in numbers, Jawan managed to accumulate Rs 32.92 crore nett. On Tuesday, the movie added another Rs 27 crore nett to its tally, taking its total business in India to Rs 346.98 crore nett.
Jawan, a high-octane action thriller, boasts of an ensemble cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani. It also features Deepika Padukone in an extended cameo.
