Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan is set to join the Rs 400-crore club soon in India as it raked in an impressive total of Rs 388.72 crore nett in domestic collections at the end of its extended first week in theatres.
Opening with a staggering Rs 75 crore nett across all languages in India, Jawan collected Rs 53.23 crore nett on Day 2, followed by an awe-inspiring weekend collection of Rs 158.83 crore nett.
Even on its first Monday, Jawan maintained its momentum by adding Rs 32.92 crore nett to its kitty. The Atlee directorial maintained its strong performance on Tuesday with an additional Rs 27 crore nett in earnings. It earned Rs 23 crore nett in India on Wednesday and Rs 20 crore nett on Thursday.
The action-entertainer, also featuring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in key roles, has already amassed Rs 660-crore gross worldwide and is expected to breach the Rs 700-crore milestone today.
Jawan also features Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra and Sunil Grover, while Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt make special appearances in the film.
