Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan has completed 50 days at the box office, collecting a whopping Rs 1,146 crore worldwide and emerging as the highest-grossing Indian film of 2023.
In a grand celebration of this achievement, the makers of the Atlee-helmed actioner unveiled a special poster on Thursday. “50 days and still winning millions of hearts, Jawan is ruling every corner of the world!," production company Red Chillies Entertainment wrote alongside the poster on X.
Jawan, which hit theatres on September 7, has so far collected approximately Rs 640 crore nett in the domestic box office. Throughout its theatrical run, the film has shattered records and set new benchmarks. It achieved the biggest opening day (Rs 65 crore nett), weekend (Rs 252 crore nett), and opening week (Rs 348 crore nett) collections for a Hindi movie.
It emerged as the fastest Hindi film to reach the Rs 100-crore mark (two days), Rs 200-crore mark (four days), Rs 300-crore mark (six days), Rs 400-crore mark (nine days) and Rs 500-crore mark (18 days). Jawan also emerged as the first Bollywood film to cross the Rs 600-crore milestone domestically.
The star-studded ensemble cast of Jawan includes Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Ridhi Dogra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Girija Oak, Lehar Khan, and Aaliyah Qureishi. The film also features cameos by Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt.
