Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki has trumped Prabhas-starrer Salaar: Part 1 — Ceasefire at the global box office despite the latter’s dominance in the domestic market, show latest trade records.
While Prashanth Neel’s actioner has earned Rs 98 crore gross from overseas markets so far, the Rajkumar Hirani-directed dramedy has crossed the Rs 100-crore mark in overseas earnings.
The worldwide Gross Box Office Collection (GBOC) of Salaar stands at Rs 428.9 crore, while Dunki has minted Rs 283.13 crore gross globally so far.
At the domestic box office, Salaar: Cease Fire - Part 1 has amassed a formidable Rs 297.40 crore nett so far. The movie registered a solid opening of Rs 90.7 crore nett on the first Friday, followed by Rs 118 crore nett during the weekend. The collections dipped on the first Monday (Rs 46.3 crore nett) and Tuesday (Rs 24.9 crore nett), respectively. On Day 6, Salaar earned approximately Rs 17 crore nett at the box office.
Dunki reported a decent opening of Rs 29.2 crore nett on the first Thursday, following which the comedy drama faced a substantial drop on the second day, minting Rs 20.12 crore nett. The weekend brought better fortunes, with a collection of Rs 56.31 crore nett, but the film witnessed a significant dip on weekdays, earning only Rs 35.88 crore nett on Monday and Tuesday collectively. On Wednesday, Dunki added another Rs 10.54 crore nett to its collections in India.
