Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki Drop 4 has emerged as the most viewed trailer in the history of Hindi cinema with over 103 million views across platforms in the first 24 hours, makers Red Chillies Entertainment have announced in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

“Going Lutt-Putt over this endless love! Thank you for all the support that made #DunkiDrop4 create history,” the production banner wrote on X, sharing a short video with the message, “Highest viewed Hindi trailer in the history of Indian cinema”.

The Rajkumar Hirani-directed film — starring Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani alongside Shah Rukh — is set to release in theatres on December 21.

Also featuring Vikram Kochhar and Anil Grover, the trailer promises an edge-of-the-seat experience. Interlaced with thrill and humour, the film, based on real-life experiences, is a gripping narrative of five friends on a mission to reach London.
