Shah Rukh Khan thanked fans for their unrelenting support and urged them to enjoy his latest film Dunki on release day, sharing videos of jubilation outside Mumbai’s Gaiety Galaxy theatre ahead of the Rajkumar Hirani-helmed film’s 6am premiere on Thursday.

“Thank u guys and girls have a good show and hope u all get entertained by #Dunki,” the Bollywood star wrote on X alongside the videos originally shared by his fan clubs. The videos show fans outside the theatre celebrating the film’s release with firecrackers.

In one of the videos, two fans belonging to Team Hardy and Team Foreign are wrestling outside the theatre, all in good fun, while others cheer them on. Sharing it on his X handle, Shah Rukh asked the fans to enter the hall and watch the movie instead of wrestling outside.

“Arre ab picture dekhne toh jao ya bahar hi kushti karte rahoge. Go in see the movie and tell me if u all enjoyed it,” the 58-year-old actor wrote on the microblogging platform.

The Bollywood star also shared his wife Gauri and youngest son AbRam’s reaction to Dunki during an #AskSRK session on X on Wednesday. Asked about Gauri’s reaction, the Jawan star wrote, “She said it’s a film to be very proud of and loved the humour. #Dunki.”

Abram, on the other hand, keeps singing “I want to go to the lavatory!” after watching the film. Shah Rukh wrote, “Abram has seen it and he keeps singing “I want to go to Lavatory!!! #Dunki.”

Directed by Hirani, Dunki revolves around Shah Rukh’s Hardy and his group of Punjabi-speaking friends who embark on a mission to relocate to London and stay there even after repeated visa denials.

Marking the first collaboration between Hirani and Shah Rukh, Dunki also stars Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar and Anil Grover. It is written by Abhijat Joshi, Hirani and Kanika Dhillon.

Dunki has hit the theatres on December 21.
