Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan heaped praise on Kalees’s Baby John trailer dropped on Monday, calling Varun Dhawan’s character “tough” and Jacky Shroff’s “deadly”.

For Varun, the Jawan star wrote, “@Varun_dvn I am so happy to see u like this, all tough.” Lauding Jackie for his performance, Shah Rukh added, “@bindasbhidu deadly u look Jaggu da…”

“@keerthyofficial #WamiqaGabbi all the best…A complete package, wishing goodness to the whole team,” the actor, who last starred in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, signed off.

The trailer of the upcoming action-drama promises a thrilling ride packed with action and emotion. With a story developed by Atlee, this Hindi adaptation of the Tamil blockbuster Theri is set to release in theatres on December 25.

Ahead of the trailer release, the makers treated fans to two songs from the film — Nain Matakka and Pikley Pom. The dance number Nain Matakka, featuring Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh, became an instant hit. Pikley Pom showcased the heartwarming bond between Baby John and his daughter.

Produced by Jio Studios, Atlee, A for Apple Studios, and Cine1 Studios, Baby John features an ensemble cast including Rajpal Yadav. Bollywood star Salman Khan is set to play a cameo in the movie.
