The 57-year-old also cracked a joke about the cat that appears in the frame with Suhana. “Uh, but your co-star the cat maybe needs a bit of coaching in facing the camera!! Ha ha.”

Twenty-three-year-old Suhana is set to make her Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s retro-styled film The Archies, which will stream on Netflix later this year.

Suhana reshared the story and wrote, “I love you @iamsrk And I’m so excited for what’s coming next! But I think the cat is purr-fect.”

The Archies makers announced on Tuesday that the film is slated to release on December 7 on Netflix. Sharing the final poster of the film, the streaming platform wrote, “The Archies aa rahe hain 100 days mein 🎶🥰.”

Set in the fictional town of Riverdale in 1964, The Archies is an adaptation of the popular The Archies comics series.

Shah Rukh is also awaiting the release of his film Jawan on September 7. The Atlee-helmed film also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. The highly-anticipated trailer of the movie will be released on August 31.
