Shah Rukh Khan on Friday dropped another glimpse of his menacing bald look from a new Jawan poster at the end of an #AskSRK session on Twitter and did not hesitate to take down a troll trying to mock him.

The fresh poster shows a gun-toting Shah Rukh in an olive green t-shirt and a red-and-black check shirt, confidently displaying his bald look, which had taken his fans to a new level of craziness after the release of the Jawan prevue on July 10.

“Now it's time for me to return to work. #Jawan is preparing for its release. Thank you for your participation in #AskSRK. As promised, here's the film's poster, along with loads and loads of love. See you all at the theatres," he wrote in the caption alongside the poster.

Known for his dry sense of humour and trenchant wit, Shah Rukh did not spare a troll when the latter tried to mock him by asking whether Shah Rukh bought tickets of his own film. “Do you pay your salary for the work you do from your own pockets?” pat came the reply from the Pathaan actor.

Shah Rukh assured his fans that Jawan would not be a scary movie while replying to the query of a fan who posed the question to the actor on behalf of his little boy. “So sorry but the film is not scary at all. Show it to him as and when. #Jawan,” wrote the actor.

Yet another fan posted a bandaged-up photo of Shah Rukh from Jawan, asking the actor whether it’s really him in the picture. “Ya toh main hoon ya phir meri mummy hongi??!! Ha ha #Jawan,” Shah Rukh responded in his typical witty manner.

Shah Rukh also revealed that he watched several movies directed by Atlee Kumar to prepare for his role in Jawan. “I watched a lot of films of Atlee. Vijay sir. Allu Arjun ji. Rajni sir. Yash and loads of other stars to understand the language of expression for the world that was being created. And yes then prepped for my own character too. #Jawan,” he tweeted.

Shah Rukh also revealed that the sequence where he shakes a leg to the iconic Hemanta Mukhopadhyay song Bekarar Karke Hume was Atlee’s idea. “The song is Atlee’s idea. I also love it with the dance and all. Too much magic in the idea I think. #Jawan,” he wrote.

Another Twitter user inquired about the runtime of Jawan. “Aapke paas kitna time hai? Utni hi dekh lena bhai. Bahut Busy lagte ho. #Jawan,” Shah Rukh came up with the response.

Shah Rukh also praised his Jawan co-stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. He described Nayanthara as “the sweetest of them all” and Vijay as “a ‘mad’ actor in an awesome way”.

When a user asked whether he has any films lined up for 2024, Shah Rukh said, “Dunki ke baad toh Dunki ki feeling enjoy karunga na. All work and no play makes us all a dull boy”.

Atlee Kumar’s Jawan also stars Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani and Ridhi Dogra in key roles. It is scheduled to release on September 7, making it Shah Rukh's second theatrical release of the year after the blockbuster Pathaan.
