Shah Rukh Khan has congratulated long-time friend and Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Juhi Chawla’s daughter Jahnavi Mehta on her recent graduation from Columbia University.
On may 18, Juhi shared a picture of her daughter in convocation robe on social media with the caption “#columbiaclass2023”.
Resharing his Yes Boss co-stars’ tweet, Shah Rukh wrote, “This is so awesome. Can’t wait for her to get back and celebrate with her. And a feeling of extreme pride. Love you Jaanz.”
Earlier, Jahnavi had excelled during her schooling at Charterhouse in Surrey, the UK. Her father, Jay Mehta, had also graduated from the same university. Juhi, who had been busy with the IPL, has flown to the UK for her daughter’s graduation.
Shah Rukh and Juhi have featured in several films together over years. These include blockbusters like Darr, Duplicate, Ram Jaane, Yes Boss, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani. Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Paheli and One 2 Ka 4. They are a common fixture at Eden Gardens of Kolkata during home matches of Kolkata Knight Riders.
Juhi was last seen in the Amazon Prime Video drama series Hush Hush alongside Ayesha Jhulka, Karishma Tanna, Kritika Kamra, Shahana Goswami and Soha Ali Khan.
Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Atlee’s action entertainer Jawan alongside Nayanthara. The film is scheduled to hit the cinemas on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The actor recently shared a new poster of the film along with the release date.
