Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan has announced two new Disney Star TV channels — Star Gold Romance and Star Gold Thrills — in a launch trailer dropped by the media conglomerate on Wednesday.
In the 58-second-long video, released by Star Gold Thrills, the 57-year-old actor describes Star Gold Romance as “India’s first 24x7 TV channel for only and only romantic films”.
The video then takes a thrilling turn with a montage of shots from various Hollywood superhero action films. The Pathaan actor adds, “There is also a new Hollywood ka Badshah in town — Star Gold Thrills with 24x7 broadcasting of Hollywood action, adventure and thriller movies in Hindi.”
The video ends with the actor delivering a dialogue from Pathaan and reminding his fans to watch it in theatres.

Shah Rukh returned to the big screens after a hiatus of more than four years with Siddharth Anand-directed Pathaan, which is the fourth movie in Yash Raj Films’ Spy-Universe.
The action-adventure film, which released on January 25, has created history by becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. It has grossed over Rs 1,000 crore rupees at the global box office.
Shah Rukh will next be seen in director Atlee’s action entertainer Jawan opposite Nayanthara, followed by Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki alongside Taapsee Pannu.
