Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan had a Karan Arjun reunion at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding on Friday night as the dynamic duo danced to the song Bhangra Paale from their 1995 blockbuster directed by Rakesh Roshan.
There was a wave of excitement as the Pathaan co-stars, both dressed in sherwanis, performed bhangra alongside Anant’s mother Nita Ambani and other guests.
The event was held at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai on Friday. It was attended by numerous celebrities from Bollywood like Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput.
From Hollywood, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, John Cena, Nick Jonas and Rema were in attendance.
Radhika and Anant’s wedding will be followed by a shubh aashirwad ceremony on July 13 and a reception on July 14. Another reception party will be held on July 15 in Mumbai.
The wedding festivities commenced in March with a three-day pre-wedding party in Gujarat. This was followed by a set of pre-wedding rituals including the mameru ceremony, sangeet, haldi, mehendi and garba.
Shah Rukh’s upcoming movie, reportedly titled King, is expected to feature him alongside his daughter Suhana Khan. However, an official announcement regarding King is still awaited.
Salman, on the other hand, is set to star alongside Rashmika Mandanna in AR Murugadoss’ Sikandar, slated to release on Eid next year.
