Shaakuntalam
Samantha Ruth Prabhu has shared a new poster of her upcoming Telugu-language mythological drama film Shaakuntalam. The film is directed by Gunasekhar and is based on the Indian play Abhijnanashakuntalam by Kalidasa.
In the poster, Samantha looks regal as Shakuntala in a royal outfit. Dev Mohan plays King Dushyanta in the film. The actress has shared the poster on her Instagram handle with the caption “November 4th it is 🤍”
Shaakuntalam will arrive in the theatres on November 4. Apart from Telugu, Shaakuntalam will also release in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada languages.
The Devil's Hour
The trailer of Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming thriller series The Devil’s Hour reveals elements of time travel, murder mystery and magic realism. The series is created by Tom Moran and executive produced by Steven Moffat.
In the trailer, we see a mysterious man speaking to a woman, who is having trouble with nightmares. There is also an ongoing investigation of a double homicide. Doctor Who’s twelfth Doctor, Peter Capaldi, is all set to play another time master in this series, which also features Jessica Raine, Nikesh Patel, Alex Ferns and Phil Dunster.
The Devil’s Hour will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from October 28.
Emily in Paris Season 3
Netflix on Friday announced its romantic comedy-drama series Emily in Paris has been renewed for the third season. Created by Darren Star, the series depicts the life of a young American marketing executive currently working in the Paris office of her firm.
The series is headlined by Lily Collins and also features a multinational ensemble cast including Lucas Bravo, Camille Razat, Ashley Park, Lucien Laviscount, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu and Kate Walsh.
In the series, Emily balances her professional life, hangs out with new friends,and even manages a vivid romantic life. Netflix via Instagram has shared the news and also revealed several images from the upcoming season.
Into the Deep
The trailer of Netflix’s upcoming true-crime documentary Into the Deep has just come out. Directed by Emma Sullivan, the documentary traces a bizarre crime involving an inventor and a journalist.
In the almost two-minute-long trailer, we see eccentric Danish inventor Peter Madsen and his homemade rocket. He is also accused of the murder of journalist Kim Wall.
Into the Deep arrives on Netflix on September 30.
Conversations with a Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes
Netflix unveiled the trailer of its upcoming docuseries Conversations with a Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes on Friday. It is directed by Joe Berlinger and produced by RadicalMedia.
Netflix’s previous Conversations with a Killer docu-series focused on Ted Bundy and John Wayne Gacy. In this trailer, we see the cannibalistic serial killer himself talking about his exploits.
Conversations with a Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes will be streaming on Netflix from October 7.
