Sergeant

Jio Cinemas on Sunday unveiled the official trailer of its upcoming thriller series Sergeant. It stars Randeep Hooda in the lead role alongside Adil Hussain and Sapna Pabbi.

The one-minute-34-second-long trailer shows Sergeant Nikhil Sharma (Hooda), a cop of Indian origin in a Western country, looking to solve the murder of a young woman.

Sergeant will be streaming on Jio Cinema from June 30.

Samajavaragamana

The trailer for the upcoming romantic comedy drama film Samajavaragamana was released by AK Entertainments on Sunday. Helmed by Ram Abbaraju, the film stars Sree Vishnu, Reba Monica John, Naresh, Sudarshan, Sreekanth Iyengar, Vennela Kishore and Raghu Babu.

The one-minute-44-second-long trailer follows a young man who is in love with a girl. But he must impress the parents of the girl in order to get married.

Samajavaragamana will hit cinemas on June 29.

Kidney

Club 11 Entertainment on Sunday dropped the official trailer of its upcoming Bengali-language satire film Kidney. Directed by Kajol Arefin Omi, the movie stars Ziaul Hoque Polash, Parsa Evana, Shimul Sharma and Chashi Alam.

In the two-minute-36-second-long teaser, we see a couple staged as doctors visit a village in Bangladesh where they run a clinic to scam innocent villagers to sell their Kidneys. The video also introduces several villagers and their quest to become rich by selling the organ.

Kidney will be streaming on Club 11 Entertainment’s YouTube channel on Eid.

Emergency

The date announcement teaser of the upcoming biographical film Emergency was released by the makers. Directed and headlined by Kangana Ranaut, the film also features Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman, Vishak Nair and the late Satish Kaushik.

The one-minute-12-second-long teaser opens with scenes of anarchy that erupted across the country after the declaration of the Emergency announced on June 25, 1975. It then introduces Anupam Kher as the opposition leader in jail, followed by glimpses of broadcast censorship and oppression. The video shows Kangana Ranaut as former Indian prime minister Indira Gandhi.

Emergency will hit the cinemas on November 24.
