Selena Gomez has been enjoying a dreamy beach vacation with her BFF Taylor Swift, the singer-actress revealed on Saturday, sharing two selfies of them basking in the sun on social media.
The selfies offer a breathtaking view of the ocean and a view of the best friends enjoying each other’s company on the Rhode Island estate of Swift.
In the first snap, Swift, with her arms up high, expertly captured the beautiful blue sky and the expansive ocean in the background as Gomez rested her chin affectionately on Swift's shoulder. The second photo was equally endearing as Swift turned to the side and planted a playful kiss on Gomez’s cheek, prompting the latter to pout at the lens.
Gomez added a touch of humour to the post by captioning it with the opening lyrics from Doja Cat and Saweetie's hit collaboration — Best Friend. “Thas my best frien -she a real bad,” the caption reads.
Both Gomez and Swift have been riding high on their successes as they recently achieved remarkable milestones at MTV Video Music Awards 2023. Swift took home an astonishing nine awards at the prestigious event, while Gomez clinched the award for Best Afrobeats for her collaboration with Nigerian singer Rema for the chart-topping number Calm Down.
