Johansson received two Oscar nods in 2022 for her roles in Noah Baumbach’s drama Marriage Story and Taika Waititi’s anti-hate satire Jojo Rabbit. She recently reprised her role as Natasha Romanoff (aka Black Widow) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s film of the same name. Her next appearance will be in Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City.

Her other upcoming projects include Project Artemis, in which Johansson will be seen alongside Chris Evans from the Avengers franchise, and Sebastián Lelio’s drama Bride.

English actress Thomas has been a cult favourite for her memorable roles in films such as The English Patient, for which she was nominated for an Academy Award, and Four Weddings and a Funeral. Thomas has also received a BAFTA Award, and Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for her work in films. The 62-year-old actress was seen in the blockbusters Mission: Impossible and Tomb Raider.

In the direction department, Thomas has directed episodes of Fleabag and Slow Horses. She was set to make her feature directorial debut with The Sea Change, based on Elizabeth Jane Howard’s novel of the same name. This, however, is not that project.

My Mother’s Wedding also stars American Sniper actress Sienna Miller, Emily Beecham of Little Joe and Slumdog Millionaire actress Frieda Pinto, according to Deadline.

The premise of My Mother’s Wedding has remained a mystery so far, while it is known that Thomas has co-written it with John Micklethwait.
