Actress Sayantika Banerjee has rubbished rumours about her marriage, urging fans and media to refrain from spreading such “fake news” through a post shared on her official Instagram page.
“Hello Everyone… I would request all my fans and friends in the media to refrain from spreading any fake news about my marriage,” her post, shared on Monday, read.
Following this, the actress further emphasised the importance of responsible social media usage. She expressed her disdain for such rumours and urged news outlets and digital portals to refrain from spreading baseless gossip.
“There is no truth to such news. All can be rest assured that I will be the happiest to inform if any such moment occurs in my life. We have many other important current news to discuss on social media platforms. I condemn such news and request media and digital media portals to refrain from spreading such fake news. Thanks ,” the Awara actress signed off.
Sayantika, 37, started her career in showbiz with the 2008 dance reality show Naach Doom Macha Ley. Her first big screen break was with Swapan Saha’s 2009 film Ghor Sangsar. She was most recently seen in Raja Chanda’s 2022 film Savings Account opposite Ankush Hazra.
