Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani-starrer SatyaPrem Ki Katha witnessed a marginal dip in collections at the domestic box office on Day 2, minting Rs 7 crore nett on Friday, as per trade reports.
The Sameer Vidwans-directed romantic drama had earned around Rs 9.25 crore nett on its opening day. The total two-day collection of the film now stands at Rs 16.25 crore, highlight box office records.
According to a Box Office India report, SatyaPrem Ki Katha registered a decent opening on Thursday owing to a holiday because of Eid al-Adha. The film is expected to earn Rs 10-10.25 crore nett on Saturday, while the overall collection during the extended weekend might be in the range of Rs 37-40 crore nett, the report added.
Kiara took to Instagram on Friday to thank fans for showering their love on the film. "Today what has truly touched me is seeing my fans rejoice with all the reviews coming my way...they have rooted for me since the very beginning and seeing them feel a sense of victory has made me really emotional,” she wrote in a heartwarming note.
“I owed it to them, it has taken me some time, but here we are finally! It is their success. This love is genuinely magical. #JustGreatful," Kiara added.
