Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s SatyaPrem Ki Katha minted Rs 3.85 crore nett on Wednesday, bringing its total domestic earnings to Rs 50.61 crore nett in one week, according to trade reports.
With a collection of Rs 9.25 crore nett on its opening day, the Sameer Vidwans directorial was off to a decent start before witnessing a marginal drop on Friday, raking in Rs 7 crore nett. But the romantic drama went on to earn in double digits over the weekend — Rs 10.10 crore nett on Saturday and Rs 12.15 crore nett on Sunday. It added Rs 4.21 crore nett to its kitty on Monday, followed by Rs 4.05 crore nett on Tuesday.
It took SatyaPrem Ki Katha a bit longer than Kartik-Kiara's previous film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, to enter the Rs 50-crore club. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, released in 2022, managed to reach the mark within its first weekend. The film emerged as the fourth highest-grossing Hindi film of 2022, collecting Rs 266.88 crore gross worldwide.
Apart from Kartik and Kiara, SatyaPrem Ki Katha also features Supriya Pathak, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant and Shikha Talsania in key roles.
