Akshay Kumar’s on-screen wife Radhika Madan stands by him through thick and thin as he strives to launch a low-cost airline for ordinary people in the music video of Sarfira track Khudaya, dropped by the makers on Thursday.

The three-minute-4-second-long video begins with a fight between Akshay’s Vir Mhatre and his wife, played by Radhika, on the terrace of their house. While Radhika has a lower opinion of Akshay for failing repeatedly in his endeavours, Akshay says that she should leave him if he is a disappointment to her. The subsequent scenes show Akshay searching for Radhika as he is afraid to lose her. However, she is nowhere in the house, leaving Akshay with a broken heart.

Akshay reminisces the times when he and his wife were happy together and they did not have to bear the burden of his failures. He even remembers the time they shared the same dream for common people.

Right in the next scene, Akshay finds Radhika sitting on the bedroom floor. The video ends with the couple embracing each other and expressing their worries and fears.

Sung by Sagar Bhatia, Neeti Mohan and Suhit Abhyankar, Khudaya is penned by Manoj Muntashir Shukla. It is composed by Suhit Abhyankar and produced by Suhit Abhyankar.

Directed by Sudha Kongara, Sarfira stars Akshay Kumar as Vir Jagannath Mhatre, a former Indian Air Force captain who dreams of starting a low-cost airline for ordinary people. It is a Hindi remake of Suriya’s National Award-winning Tamil film Soorarai Pottru.

The Sudha Kongara-directed film is slated to arrive in theatres on July 12, two months after the release of Akshay’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.

Sarfira also stars Paresh Rawal and is produced by Suriya, Cape of Good Films, 2D Entertainment and Abundantia Entertainment.
