Actress Sara Ali Khan has dropped a video on social media in which she is seen bonding with her grandmother, Sharmila Tagore, on a film set.
Sharing the video on Friday, the 27-year-old actress wrote “Special day” alongside the reel. Dressed up in a pink tank top and matching shorts, Sara held hands with her grandmother as the two pointed to the moon and the sun rays streaming in through the trees while Lata Mangeshkar's Chanda Hai Tu Mera Suraj Hai Tu played in the background. Sharmila looked graceful in a blue floral print top and jeans. The grandmother-granddaughter duo ended the video with an embrace, showing off their love for each other.
Sara's current film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, where she features alongside Vicky Kaushal, was released in theatres on June 2. The actress will be seen next in Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino starring alongside Aditya Roy Kapur. The actress also has the historical drama Ae Watan Mere Watan in the pipeline and recently wrapped up the Karisma Kapoor-Pankaj Tripathi-starrer Murder Mubarak.
Sharmila made her comeback after 13 years in the Disney+ Hotstar family drama, Gulmohar, co-starring Manoj Bajpayee, Simran, Suraj Sharma, Amol Palekar, and Kaveri Seth.
